Directions: Please read everything below before moving forward. 

The URL to access the online course will be emailed to the student once registration and payment are submitted. After reading the information below, scroll down and click Continue with Registration to register and submit your payment. Please bring your certificate with you to the skills session. 

This is your confirmation email for the online course. Your unique course access URL is listed above in the Course Link section.

Course Overview:
This course includes two components:

  1. Online Course Access (via the link above)

  2. Skills Verification Session with an instructor on the date your instructor gives you in your class.

To earn your credential, you must complete both the online course and attend the scheduled skills verification session.

Getting Started with the Online Course:

  1. Click the course link provided above.

  2. On the course page, click "Activate Course" (located on the right side).

  3. On the next screen, click "Log In/Register":

    • If you already have an account, log in using your existing credentials.

    • If you are new, click "Create an account" and follow the prompts.

    • After creating your account, return to the confirmation email and click "Activate Course" again and it will bring you directly to the course.

  4. Review and accept the user agreement to continue.

Once activated, you can log into your account at any time to access the course from any computer with an internet connection. The course will remain available for 24 months from the activation date. Please note that the system will time out after 20 minutes of inactivity.

Important Reminders:

  • Please bring a printed or digital copy of your completion certificate to your skills verification session.

  • The online portion takes approximately 3 hours to complete. Be sure to allocate enough time to finish it before your scheduled skills session.

Claiming your eCard is easy, just follow these steps! 

1. You will receive an email from ecards@heart.org with a link inviting you to claim your eCard online. If you do not receive this email, check your Spam and Junk folders.
2. You will be directed to the Student Profile webpage. 
3. Confirm that your information is correct, then set up a security question and answer to access your eCard in the future. 
4. Accept the terms and conditions and click Submit. 
5. Fill out a survey of your AHA course. 
6. You can print or save your card! 

 

Please note that if you do not claim your eCard, you will not be able to show proof of course completion to your employer. Only you can claim your eCard, it cannot be claimed by someone on your behalf.
